Healthy Weight Loss Supplements

Shedding extra pounds that have been hanging around your waist, thighs, or underarms can be a frustrating process that doesn’t bring much progress in many cases.

Often, we have nobody else but ourselves to blame. That being said, we can always help ourselves out by picking good diet programs to follow and effective weight loss supplements to take.

In this article, we’re going to focus on the process of the latter and give readers a few points in terms of things they should do and look out for as they try and determine which weight loss supplement to purchase.

Qualities You Always Want To Find

The expansion of the weight loss industry and market has consequently led to an explosion of weight loss supplements. Although an increase in options comes with its perks, it can also make life difficult for consumers who can’t decipher a good diet pill from a bad.

And trust us when we say this: For every good diet pill that is introduced on store shelves, there is a bad counterpart next in line.

So to help our weight loss-seeking friends out, we’ve come up with a list of qualities that every effective and safe weight loss supplement possesses. Now, this list is not all-encompassing of the qualities you should keep an eye on, but they are some of the most obvious and will at least give you a good head start in your search.

With that explanation out of the way, here are those qualities, including:

The Organic Quality – If you’re sick of hearing about organic and “all-natural” products…well don’t be in the case of weight loss supplements. You see, our bodies prefer all-natural ingredients over artificial copycats in most cases, and tend to reject them far less frequently in comparison to stuff that is made in labs.

In other words, the more organic a supplement is, the less you’ll have to worry about side effects. We’ve begun with this quality because a diet pill’s safety is just as important as its effectiveness.

The Multi-Functional Quality - The more a supplement can do, the better. By this we mean the number of tasks, benefits, and functions that it provides….the better. You’ve probably seen these diet pills that claim to promise a boatload of various benefits.

Of course, some of these options don’t actually follow through on those promises, but those that do are truthfully the jackpots of weight loss supplements. Look for those diet pills that are appetite suppressants, mood enhancers, and sexual promoters on top of being fat burners.

The Proven and Tested Quality- Okay, this quality should be self-explanatory, but we’ll explain it anyways. You never want to trust your luck to a diet pill that hasn’t been clinically proven and tested for effectiveness and safety.

Those who do this often find themselves in trouble either financially or health wise. Most supplements that have been checked out by health experts and nutritionists normally boast of some sort of mark or seal on the front of their bottle. Be sure to look for these stamps or marks of approval.

The Easy Accessibility Quality – Lastly, but just as importantly, it’s always nice to find an option that is easily accessible. Some weight loss supplements can be hard to obtain, especially those that can only be purchased online (which can be sketchy) and shipped through a specific delivery method. Try to avoid these options if you can unless you’re already sold on the quality of a product.

Also, don’t be fooled by the adage that prescriptions are a better bet than over-the-counter options. There are plenty of over-the-counter pills that have proven to be just as effective and safe as their prescription counterparts.

Not only that, but over-the-counter supplements are much easier to obtain. All you need to do is run to your local pharmacy, rather than having to schedule and attend a doctor’s appointment in order to receive a prescription.

The More Research The Better

Like we said, the list above should at least give you a good head start and help you to narrow your list of diet pill options to a handful.

From here, it’s up to you and your detective skills to decipher which option is best for you. You can help yourself out by reading reviews, testimonials, and supplement facts of each and every supplement you’re considering.

Also remember that attention to detail is key. Watch out for fallacies, odd or over-the-top promises, and other bits of information that doesn’t add up. At the same time, attention to detail can also help you spot the best options available as well.

A Sure-Fire Recommendation

How Can HGH Help with Acne? - October 12th, 2011

Acne is a skin condition, often starting in puberty, that causes small red growths on the skin. Acne is caused by the clogging of tiny pores on the skin. This clogging occurs when the glands produce too much oil, dirt and debris are backed up or bacteria and inflammation cells are present. If the swelling is too much, larger cysts may form.

How Acne is Triggered

Many times acne runs in the family and may be triggered by hormonal changes (menstrual periods, pregnancy, birth control pills-in women). It may also be set off by greasy or oily cosmetics or hair products, certain drugs, and high levels of humidity and sweating.

Contrary to popular belief, acne is not caused by eating excessive chocolate. However, diets high in refined sugars and processed foods may, in fact, be a leading contributor. Stress has also been linked to acne because of the inflammatory response it triggers in the body.

Acne Aids

Before going straight for the acne medications, creams, and gels there are some things you can do that may help clear your acne on your own.

1. Keep your hands away from your face. Skin to skin contact, especially on the face, transfers oils and may cause acne to occur.
2. Wash your face at least twice a day. Use a washcloth. Let your face air dry or use a clean towel.HGH Acne Help
3. The less you put on your face the better. Make-up, lotion, toner, creams, etc. often contribute to the clogging of pores, leading to acne.
4. Drink water! Water helps to rid your body of toxins and also helps to unclog pores. Keeping yourself hydrated will be a huge help in eliminating your acne.

If after trying these suggestions you are still looking for a solution, there are many different medical treatments available to help you rid yourself of painful and embarrassing acne. Both prescription and over-the-counter medications are available to you. Many products include Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Sulfur and Resorcinol. African Mango Diet - October 12th, 2011

african mango diet

There is obviously a good reason as to why we’re counseled to eat a good portion of fruit each day by doctors, fitness instructors, and even our parents.

Containing essential nutrients to help our bodies function properly from day-to-day, eating a recommended daily intake of fruit can do wonders for our overall health.

That being said, we would like to introduce you to a “super fruit” called African Mango. First of all, this fruit is extremely tasty and delicious to eat. But more importantly, it’s has recently been discovered as one of the top weight loss ingredients known to man.

Also known as Irvingia Gaobnesis, because its grown on the Irvingia Gaobnesis tree which is native to Western Africa, African Mango has been lauded by health experts and nutritionists alike as a revolutionary find in the field of health science.

Basically, our western world has just realized what natives of Western Africa have known all along – that African Mango keeps a body healthy, as they’ve used it for centuries as a staple food in their diets and for medicinal purposes as well.

What It Can Do

Now, you’re probably wondering what kind of discoveries science has found out about African Mango.

Instead of writing out elongated paragraphs that you would probably get bored reading, we’ve decided to list the functions that African Mango products provide in list-form, including:

It’s Fat Burning Potential – The best way to increase weight loss is by burning excess fat, and African Mango has that science down to a “T.” Not only does it attack fat cells and stops the proliferation of them, but it also increases a body’s metabolism to help it burn fat at a higher rate.
It’s Regulation of the Leptin Hormone – We often tend to overeat because our hormones are out of wack. The leptin hormone in particular, is the hormone which controls our urges and desire to eat. When it’s levels are too low, our body fails to tell itself that it is ever full. Well, luckily, African Mango has the ability to replenish and regulate our leptin levels, and therefore, promote the suppression of our appetites.
It’s Ability to Delay the Digestion of Food – When our stomachs are empty, we want to eat. When they are full, our bodies understand that it needs a break from eating. In this sense, African Mango has the ability to delay digestion, which allow our stomachs to stay full for a longer period of time. Again, this ability that it possesses allows it to suppress our appetites.
Its Abundant Source of Fiber – Fiber is the perfect cleanser for our bodies, and large amounts of it are found in African Mango. If you put two and two together, this makes African Mango the perfect cleanser for your body as well.

Hopefully that list gives you a good overview of the benefits that African Mango provides. In the next section of our review, we’ll go over another key factor of African Mango – its safety.

All-Natural and Safe

Many diet pills are great in terms of their effectiveness, but due to high potency levels and other reasons, many of these same options come with troubling side effects as well.

You see, our bodies don’t like things that are artificial and synthetic. They find these types of solutions and ingredients as foreign and possibly dangerous.

That’s why all-natural ingredients and supplements – such as African Mango – are often much safer options in comparison to artificially-made products.

Because African Mango is itself a fruit, it goes without explanation that its extract is an all-natural ingredient. That being said, users of African Mango products have reported little to no side effects associated with their use.

If side effects do occur, it is often nothing more than excessive gas or a mild headache on occasion.

Plenty of Options

irvingi appress Because African Mango has become one of the most popular weight loss ingredients used today, many weight loss supplements have adopted its use in their blends.

Along those lines, you can’t really go wrong with most products that include African Mango extract.

Still, certain African Mango products are more proven than others, like the diet pill known as Irvingi Appress.

This dietary supplement gains its potency from a simple blend that combines the powers of African Mango extract with green tea. Here are a few of the functions that Irvingi Appress provides, including:

Its ability to boost even the slowest metabolisms.
Its ability to break down and attack fat cells at a consistent rate.
Its ability to reduce excessive sugar levels that tend to produce fat.
Its ability to suppress the heartiest of appetites.

Treating Eczema With Steroids - August 5th, 2010

Doctors have prescribed specific steroids that are meant to help you to reduce problems with eczema. They specifically work by helping you to naturally reduce levels of inflammation and therefore of damage. The goal is to reduce the inflammation, release bacteria that may be trapped at this particular time, and therefore help you to reduce redness, swelling, and other problems commonly associated with eczema. So how do steroid creams for eczema actually work?

Topical steroids used for eczema are called corticosteroids. They include non prescription and prescription forms, and it is used to reduce the inflammatory effect of the skin in its own efforts to protect itself. It has been used for mild to moderate inflammatory skin diseases for years, and they find that corticosteroids be found in ointments, lotions, creams, and foams.

Unfortunately, many choose not to use steroids for the treatment of eczema. It has been used successfully yes. But unfortunately, they have also found that corticosteroids have quite a few potentially nasty side effects. It can seep into the skin, actually causing birth defects and other common problems. It’s not completely safe by any definition. Some can also cause rashes and other things that actually end up looking like eczema. But if used correctly, most will not experience this problem.

Personally, there are times when I would recommend the use of corticosteroids and times when I wouldn’t recommend using steroids for eczema. When it comes to eczema, the fact is that every case is different. Every case has the potential for problems. And when it comes right down to it, steroids will not work for many. But at the same time, they have been proven to work in many cases, and this is not the anabolic steroids that have been associated with so many potentially serious problems.

Fighting Chin Acne - June 17th, 2009

There are 2 main ingredients that are recommended for acne sufferers. First up Benzoyl Peroxide, it comes in concentrations of 2.5% up to 10%. It will take your skin some getting use to so you should definitely start off low and work your way up to a higher percentage, if you don’t your skin will be unbearably dry and flaky and you won’t be happy.  Another pro to this ingredient is that it also works as a bleaching agent so it can tone down redness, but be careful it will bleach out your clothing. Next is Salicylic Acid, this causes the cells of the skin to shed more readily, prevents pores from clogging up and allows room for new cell growth. It is a chemical similar to aspirin so it may help with acne swelling as well.

I also wanted to teach you a little about Estheticians and what they can do for you. You can usually find a master esthetician at you local salon, spa, medical spa and sometimes the dermatologist. One beneficial treatment for acne is red and/or blue light therapy, this is an intense violet light generated by fluorescent lighting. The only way you are going to see results with this treatment is if you go to a medical spa or dermatologist office, they are able to have higher voltage lights. Chemical Peels have also been highly affective; there are all different kinds and types so consult with your Esthetician to see what’s best for you and your skin. Last but not least some salons and spas have a GLYMED DERMASOUND MACHINE, I have seen the best results with this machine its amazing! If you want more information on any of these treatments or where you can find a spa/salon that offers these treatments please leave a comment!

Chin Acne - June 16th, 2009

Chin Acne, where do we even begin?! I am a licensed Master Esthetician so I have definitely dealt with this problem and have definitely learned a few things or two! There are some things I am going to go over this week; the cause, good ingredients to combat this problem, at home remedies and the best treatments to get in spas and clinics from Estheticians.

Why does this horrible thing happen to you? Women are most affected by chin acne and it is because of all the hormonal changes we deal with. Not fair, I know. So one way that you can try to prevent chin acne is by balancing your hormones. Sometimes the pill (birth control) can be a big help for some women to balance out their bodies and get their periods regular. There are also doctors, nurses and specialty clinics that specialize in hormone balancing, and it’s very noninvasive. They can test your blood and find out exactly what’s imbalanced and then try and balance your body back out with supplements, herbs and creams. I definitely don’t agree with taking antibiotics the rest of your life to try and get rid of acne, it’s very harsh on your body and can create problems in the long run. Look online to find hormone balancing clinics in your area.
